Durante una charla de motivación especial, ella dijo: “Después de mis años de aprendiz, debuté en Corea, y luego un año más tarde, debuté en Japón. Tuve un showcase en Japón, y durante este, mi voz se quebró. Fue la mayor desafinación de voz en toda mi carrera”. Ella reveló: “Después desarrollé una fobia a las presentaciones. Me quedé recordando esos tres minutos de pesadilla. Pero entonces pensé: ‘¿Acaso puedo vivir sin cantar?’ Eso es lo mucho que amo este trabajo”. Ella agregó: “Hubieron muchas veces en las que yo quise renunciar también. Si abandonas tu sueño, nadie más se aferrará a él por ti.
